Inspections Under San Francisco Rules
The health department's bed bug rules ask building owners to have a licensed pest control operator verify a tenant's complaint within 2 working days and to check the units above, below, beside and across from it. The operator needs a state Branch 2 license. AB 551 then requires the landlord to share the findings with affected tenants within 2 business days.
